Sarıkaya Law is an independent law firm practising in legal representation, legal advisory and mediation. Its founding partners spent many years running the legal and compliance functions of internationally owned companies, in the course of which they managed the legal affairs of operations ranging from head-office organisations and plants to dealer networks and port, coastal and onshore storage facilities.

Sarıkaya Law serves corporate and individual clients alike, through a working model built on the direct involvement of its partners. Every matter is assessed within the commercial, operational or personal context in which it arises. Advice is therefore shaped not only by the legal framework but also by the client's operating structure, decision-making mechanisms, and how the proposed approach would actually work in practice.

Companies

Every legal question a company meets from formation to winding-up: shareholder and board relations, contracts, compliance and internal investigations, employee relations, dealings with regulators. Like the company's own legal department, from the outside.

Executives and individuals

An executive's relationship with the company, an employee's rights, the future of a family or a property. Matters that touch a person's life directly, handled with the same discipline and confidentiality we apply to corporate files.

Disputes

Representation in court, arbitration and mediation; where possible, resolution by negotiation before a dispute grows. The route is chosen by weighing cost and outcome together.

Ezgi Sarıkaya

Following a traineeship at a competition-law firm, she began her in-house career in the energy sector, serving from 2014 to 2021 at one of Turkey's leading fuel distribution companies and from 2021 to 2026 at an internationally owned, publicly listed building materials company. In her last role she led the structuring and management of the legal and compliance function and served on the company's executive committee, working in corporate and commercial law, contracts, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance, legal risk management and commercial disputes.

Graduate of İstanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law, with an LL.M. in Economic Law from Galatasaray University. She was named to The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Turkey in 2023 and 2024.

Oğuz Sami Sarıkaya

Partner · Attorney and Mediator

Practising since 2007 in corporate law, energy law, contracts, dispute resolution and corporate compliance. Over the course of his career he has worked in the legal departments of internationally owned companies active in industry, commercial real estate and energy; since 2016 he has headed the legal affairs of a global energy group's companies in Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan, a role that has also included board and investment committee membership and compliance responsibilities.

Graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Law and Özyeğin University's LL.M. programme in Public Law. Registered mediator with the Ministry of Justice. Named to The Legal 500 GC Powerlist Turkey in 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Multidisciplinary Teams Under Partner Direction

Sarıkaya Law brings together lawyers and compliance specialists under the direct management of its partners, joined where needed by academic advisers.

Corporate and individual matters are handled by working groups formed around the nature of each matter. Each group operates under the direct management and supervision of the responsible partner; lawyers and specialist advisers carry out the legal strategy under that partner's coordination. Details of the team members and advisers assigned to a file are shared with the client by the responsible partner.
